DIGITAL REGENERATIONS
Digital Regenerations examines the art of sketching as documentation and process while challenging the highly chronological role of it. Sketching is inherently important in the preliminary phases of a design project, architectural or not- but can sketching be utilized in later phases of design including in post development in hopes that such processes can give light to new interpretations beyond visual communication?
The project is expected to be executed in three phases: collection, diagramming, and reinterpreting. The focus of the project is to document existing sketches through analytical digital drawing and form making while simultaneously challenging the role of recycling in the design process.
Digital Regenerations is currently in phase 1 (collection) and is expected to be a long term project with no anticipated end date as of May 2019.
